2022 | Gainsb'Art
Gainsb'Art was born with the portraits of Gainsbourg made by the photographer Roberto Battistini in the fall of 1985. Nourished by encounters, under the impetus of the photographer, more than sixty contemporary artists are collaborating on this project. Exhibition presented at Espace Culturel Chapelle Sainte-Anne, La Baule in 2022.
2021 | We Can Be Heroes
The series We Can Be Heroes inspires musicians who produce a new soundtrack for the portraits created by Fred Kleinberg. Watch the clip Mohamed Ali by the groups Télégram & Catfish: Made by four hands by the groups Catfish and Télégram, this new piece was created around a portrait of the boxer Mohammed Ali made by the French painter and printmaker Fred Kleinberg. An allegory of the fight against oneself, against the invisible and the insidious reality of our time, this title was released yesterday to celebrate the anniversary of the death of The Greatest. 2016/2018 | Odyssey, a journey to the limits of exile, image and sound
The painter produces an unprecedented series of paintings and drawings in large formats based on his encounters with refugees. For this production of works nourished by lived experiences, geographical displacement. he records the sound journey of this odyssey: interviews with migrants, testimonies of volunteers and humanitarian action managers, sound recording of environments of life in a refugee camp..., and creates in collaboration with the musician François-Régis Matuszenski a soundtrack that accompanies his works.

In collaboration with the group, Les Hurlements d'Léo, creation of the stage set: 8MX4M painting, video projection, scenography and light for this show in tribute to the artist Mano Solo. Graphic design of the album.
2010 | Collaboration with the Prometheus Orchestra, Performance, live painting
Pictorial performance realized by the painter Fred Kleinberg at the Cité Internationale des Congrès in Nantes during the concert “Les Grands Airs de Richard Wagner”. 90 musicians and 160 choristers perform the most famous arias by Richard Wagner. For the occasion Fred Kleinberg is painting on stage, live in collaboration with video designer Sam Burkardt. Continuing his series of portraits of musicians, he brings out the face of the tormented musician from beyond the grave.
